ISAAC (International Strategic Alliance of Apostolic Churches) is a global representation of churches in over 80 nations with Dr JONATHAN  DAVID  as the presiding apostle. ISAAC actively develops and capacitates churches globally in formulating blue-prints and strategies for social change, integrating church ministry into community development. ISAAC is administerd by THE PEOPLES CHAPEL in Pietermaritzburg.

We have partnered with an organization called GOLD Peer Education Development Agency to implement a peer education program in two high schools namely Kwa-Pata and Seqongweni Secondary schools in Imbali Township,Pietermaritzburg .Together with GOLD we see a generation of young African leaders confronting the root causes of the AIDS and HIV pandemic, through uplifting their communities and imparting vision and purpose to present and future generations.

Peer Education is about young people realizing their value and being empowered to make informed decisions about the challenges they face. It is about equipping influential young people to impact their peers through positive peer pressure. ISAAC employs local young people as GOLD Facilitators who work with high school students who have been selected to become Peer Educators. Our Facilitators work with these Grade 10, 11 and 12 students to equip them with knowledge and skills to combat HIV/AIDS, teenage pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse, crime and other issues facing their communities.

THE NEED

In Kwa-Zulu Natal young people are losing their grip on their God Given Purpose and Identity due to the devastation caused by acute health, economic and social constraints. They have now become “The Generation at Risk” because of gross poverty and death by HIV and AIDS leaving them Orphans without Role Models.

VISION

ISAAC GOLD aims to participate in the mental, physical and spiritual development of young people in South Africa today by the Transfer of Legacy equipping them to be leaders who will influence the future generation within communities towards positive change and social transformation.

MISSION

To roll out a quality youth peer education programme in alignment to the GOLD model, by interactive mentorship thus producing positive and confident role models to become agents of change within the respective communities.
